Opening in 1999, Exotic Birds of Denver has been serving the exotic bird community for over 21 years.

Parrots make up about 393 bird species and are found in tropical and subtropical regions.

According to Wikipedia, one-third of the parrot species are at risk for extinction. Parrots have the highest risk of extinction compared to any other bird group.

These birds originate in tropical locations of both hemispheres. Many types of parrots live in South America as well as Australia, New Zealand, and in some of their neighboring islands.
